FQ About Gastric Balloon Clinic in Antalya / Turkey
A diet clinic offers personalized services to help people manage their weight, often through nutritional counseling, meal planning, and fitness guidance. These clinics may also provide medical interventions such as appetite suppressants, weight-loss injections, or bariatric surgery evaluations. They cater to individuals looking for both medical and non-surgical weight-loss solutions.
A weight-loss shot refers to medications like Wegovy (semaglutide), which are injected to aid weight loss. These drugs work by mimicking a hormone that targets areas of the brain responsible for appetite, helping individuals feel full with less food. These injections are typically prescribed for patients with obesity or related health issues.
7 to 10 days - The required time for a gastric sleeve in Turkey is usually seven to 10 days. On the first day, you meet our doctor for consultation and the blood test, the second day, you will be for the procedure, stay at the hospital for 2 or 3 nights, and after seven days from the operation, you need to have control.
Always consume lean protein first, non-starchy vegetables second, and high-fiber carbs or a healthy fat source last. Try to consume at least 64 ounces of hydrating fluids. Avoid added-sugar drinks, carbonation, and excessive caffeine. Consume alcohol in moderation.
For patients with a lower BMI, gastric sleeve surgery can still be an option, but the outcomes and risks may differ from those with a higher BMI. Low-BMI patients often turn to the surgery to address health conditions like metabolic syndrome or diabetes rather than extreme obesity. Reviews from these patients often focus on the subtle, but significant, weight loss and the improvement in overall health. However, there are concerns that lower BMI patients might not experience the same dramatic results as those with... +More
Weight-loss surgery, or bariatric surgery, includes procedures like gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and gastric banding. These surgeries are recommended for individuals with severe obesity who have not been able to lose weight through diet and exercise alone.

Can you fly after gastric sleeve surgery? There is no reason why you should not fly as normal with a gastric sleeve. We do not recommend that sleeve patients fly short haul (e.g. Europe) within 7 days of their surgery and that they wait 21 days before flying medium to long haul. Always consume lean protein first, non-starchy vegetables second, and high-fiber carbs or a healthy fat source last. Try to consume at least 64 ounces of hydrating fluids. A GI malignancy refers to any cancerous growth within the gastrointestinal tract. These cancers are often aggressive and can spread quickly if not detected early. Colon cancer, stomach cancer, and pancreatic cancer are common forms of GI malignancy. Gastroenterologists play a vital role in screening for these cancers through procedures like colonoscopies and endoscopies.
Gastric band surgery involves placing an adjustable band around the upper portion of the stomach, limiting food intake and promoting weight loss. This procedure is reversible and less invasive than other bariatric surgeries. Its available privately and occasionally through the NHS for eligible patients.
The intragastric balloon is the first of the endoscopic techniques which have the potential to be important means of achieving weight loss without the need for surgery. This is the only endoscopic technique which currently we offer at CBS. But the field of endoscopic techniques for weight loss is a rapidly developing one and further techniques could be available in the not-too-distant future.
